Looking for a new roommate for a lease to start 7/15 in Downtown Brooklyn penthouse-floor apartment!

The available room is the larger one at left on the blueprint with the big window (marked "Living/Dining") (and includes the closet in the living room). Monthly rent for the room is $1555/month on a 1-year lease.

Apartment is located on top floor and has washer, dryer, and dishwasher, as well as air conditioning units in each bedroom.

Building has a doorman, gym, and tenants are allowed to use the rooftop, gym, and pool of the building next door.

Less than a 10-minute walk to get to subway stations at Jay St-MetroTech (A/C/F/R) and DeKalb (Q/B/D), and about 10 minutes to get to Borough Hall (2/3/4/5/R). A quick walk to City Point (Target, Trader Joe's, and Alamo Drafthouse), and minutes' walk from Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, and Fort Greene.

About me: I'm 29, gay, and a government lawyer. I typically work Monday-Friday. Nice, respectful, and clean.

Looking for a roommate who works full-time outside the apartment or is a professional student. Please be clean, courteous, and respectful. Must be LGBT-friendly.

Leasing office will assess fee to run credit check. Rent is $1555/month. Security deposit is $800, and there is an additional $250 cost for the flex wall the prior roommate and I put up to create second bedroom (wall needs to also be removed when both parties to a lease move out). Electricity and Internet/cable bill will be split each month. Room is unfurnished.
