Looking to lease for 6 months and revisit the lease when it expires at the end of August.
About us: I am a single dad with a 15 year old. We work and attend school. We are out the door at around 7:30 am and we hang around the apartment on weekends. We are clean and pretty quiet. We are friendly and considerate about sharing common areas but we mostly keep to ourselves.
*** We have a cat. She is super cute and friendly. The owner downstairs has a dog and a kid. If you are allergic to animals or children, this might not be for you.
About you: We are looking for someone who is clean and respectful and working or attending school. Please no drinking, smoking or drugs in the apartment and no guests.
About the apartment: the apt is a 2nd story walk up. The room is on the 1st floor of the apartment just off the kitchen/living room. It's a duplex and our rooms are upstairs.
The room is large with a closet and dresser. The doorknob locks. It is partially furnished right now, you are welcome to use what's in there or we can remove it.
The kitchen is fully stocked with pans, dishes and appliances, which you are welcome to use.
The neighborhood has everything you need, grocery, drug store, laundry.
It's a 10 - 15 min walk to the D train 71st Street Stop and 2 minutes to the B4 Bus to Bay Ridge.
Looking for someone for March 1st or sooner, the room is empty now. Asking 1st month and a 1 month security deposit up front, which will be returned when you leave. Asking $1,200 flat, to include all utilities.
