I've got a queen bed-sized room for rent in a 2BD/1BA apt available Sept 1st. Looking for a long-term renter thru at least May 2019.
The apt is on the 2nd floor in a converted industrial loft building in East Williamsburg. 3 min walk to Lorimer and Flushing J/M stops (good for when the L closes!) and a 10 min walk from the Montrose L.
The price for the room is $1400/month + half of utilities each month (around $100). It is roughly 8" x 13", with super tall 12-foot ceilings, a large window, large closet, partially exposed brick, and hardwood floors. There is also a central nook between the bedrooms that a few items can be stored in.
Building has full rooftop access, buzzer/key fob access, laundry in basement, a relaxed artsy vibe, and gyms nearby. The landlord lives in the building and is really friendly and attentive. Close to an amazing huge grocery store, cute bars/restaurants, coffee shops, etc.
I am a 30-yr-old fashion accessories designer who commutes into midtown during the week. I'm a warm, outgoing person who loves art, travel, wine, and Jeopardy! I also have a pretty busy social schedule, so I'm not really around too much. I like things clean/organized in the communal areas. I've been in this neighborhood for 6 years and love it.
Ideal roommates would be friendly ladies in their late 20s/early 30s! Someone with a day-job who is considerate, clean, and friendly.
No work-from-home, no couples, no pets please.
Move in would be 1st month's rent plus one month security: $2800 total.
