I live in East Williamsburg near Win Son Bakery and am looking for someone in their mid-to-late 20s who is like minded, for a long term sublet of my room in spacious 3 bedroom rent-controlled apartment with lots of natural light (3rd bedroom used as mutual office space) to begin on May 1, 2023 and shared with my current roommate Nick.
Nick works in advertising sales and is in-office at least 3-4 times a week with WFH on Mondays/Fridays mostly. He is a social person but also enjoy his alone time including reading, watching tv and sports, as well as being a very active person (working out, going hiking upstate, and just spending time exploring). We are looking for a working professional that is clean, easy going and wants to hangout some, but also enjoys their own time and space. We are also looking for someone who will help keep the apartment in great condition as we love this apartment and want it to stay as great as it is.
The apartment is spacious, has a large balcony, in-unit washer and dryer, central air and heating, dishwasher, microwave, etc. It is also close to several subways (5 mins from L, G, J, M) and the building has a lot of amenities (basement gym, bike racks, gaming rooms/theater).
The monthly rent would be $1796.55 from May 1, 2023 and then jumps to $1854.94 beginning on September 1, 2023 for the standard rent control apartment increase. A one month security deposit for $1854.94 would also be required.
