I'm looking for a roommate to rent the second apartment of my 2 Bedroom apartment. The room will be available as of Oct 1. The attatched photos are about 3 years old, and there have been quite a few improvements to the apartment since then. I'll be adding those later in the week. Bills usually run around $80 each incl interwebs.
About the Location: This neighborhood is amazing, seriously. Still just out of reach of the expansion of Downtown Brooklyn, but still super convenient. About a 7 minute walk to Barclays/Atlantic Terminal (2,3,4,5, B, D, N, R, Q, LIRR), and a 5 minute walk to the C and G trains. There's 2 Citibike stations within 2 blocks. I do street park my car, and it's not too tough if you needed to. Fulton has a bunch of pretty cool bars and 2 Biergartens, as well as some close by food spots.
About the apartment: The room itself is what i consider to be a great size. It's not pre-war huge, but it's also not a closet, as you can see from the pics. It easily fits a large desk, a queen bed, and a dresser. The living room is amazing., cozy, well lit, and nicely furnished. Kitchen is a bit small, but has new appliances and fits a ton. The room itself is unfurnished, but the living room and kitchen are.
About me: I'm a respectful, clean, and sociable 33yr old Software Engineer from Long Island. I like exercising, snowboarding, video games, and racing. I'm usually only home on the weekend for 2/4 weeks, and I work from home on the weekdays about once every 2 weeks.
