Huge BR available June 1 in 2BR in Greenpoint

Hi! I am looking for a roommate to move into my 2BR one bath Greenpoint apartment. The landlord will draw up a lease that includes the new person. I have lived in this apartment for 8 years and its in an amazing location; I just got married and am so sad to leave this apartment and my fantastic roommate. She is a late-20's school teacher, neat, respectful/quiet, friendly, easy going, and so much fun! I lived with her for 2-years and loved every minute...I only moved because I got married. The ideal candidate will be in mid 20's to 30's, steadily employed, respectful, easy to get along with, no pets (sorry!) enjoys his/her own space and has a life, but would be open to sharing a glass of wine and socializing!

About the apartment: Huge 2-bedroom, 1 bath apartment ( NOT a
railroad) with a great, well sized kitchen including brand new appliances (I'm a
major foodie and have cooked many a dinner party in this kitchen).
Great big living room with TONS of space has lots of windows so is
nice and bright--the room currently has two couches in it as you can see in the pictures. I really love this apartment, the building, and the neighborhood. Your room is a nice size and has its own closet. It has a window A/C, easily fits a queen bed, a dresser, end tables, etc, it has a window and plenty of space to move about. The location is great; quiet street (with very easy
parking if you have a car, I've never had a problem with my car) about
a 5-7-minute walk to the Nassau G stop, or 10-20-minutes to Bedford L.
Lots of great places for food nearby including new restaurants, an amazing wine store, and great produce markets. The building is quiet, with only 5 units total, is one block from McGuiness, and has an easily accessible laundry room.

Rent is $1450, and includes heat and hot water. Shared monthly bills are cable/internet, electric and gas (gas bill is $9 per month!). Ideally looking for someone to move in for June 1, but can be flexible for the right person if you wanted to move in over the weekend. Feel free to email me with any questions.
