Looking for a roommate for a room on a top floor (2nd floor), railroad setting apartment in a brick home in Park Slope/Sunset Park.
*Available for medium and long term rental
* Brightly lit apartment; *2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, kitchen, washer and dryer in the apartment, 1 music studio with piano and guitar if someone is a musician or plays instrument.
*Move in- March 1st

*ROOM:
*fully finished with a bed, triple door wardrobe, dresser with draws, bed side table and lamp. Room will be newly painted and cleaned after last tenant leaves
* Recently sold older TV but will be purchasing one soon to share for the living room space
* Apartment heated extremely well and strong air conditioning installed in the living room that is connected to the bedroom by a door and cools it fairly well.
* Strong ceiling fan in the room
* Access to a fully-stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Towels and sheets can also be provided
* Cats accepted
* Express trains N, D and local R 3 min walk. 15 min by train to the city. Bus B63 on 5th Ave 1 min walk and 5 min ride to Park Slope
* few 24 hr deli's a few min walk from apartment
* Rent: $1000 paid on the 1st
* Proof of employment needed.
* All utilities included. During July/August, landlord requires extra for air conditioning running
*Cleaning of the home is divided into week by week basis, each week a person takes turns

About me:
I am a 31 year old (F) professional who is clean, respectful, upbeat and has been living in the apartment for 4 years. I'm a music and online teacher by trade so I do work from home at times. I love to cook and have an active Brooklyn social life, but also like quiet down time.

Seeking:
A roommate to take over my previous roommate's place. Ideal candidate is a female who is clean, none smoker, friendly, and responsible but I am very open to alternatives if we click :)
I like to use the apartment as a space to unwind and I mostly socialize outside of the apartment so I don't have very many guests over. I do have my partner who stays the night here and there and does come by to hangout but it is not a live in situation and I would accept the same- no live in partners but sleepovers and friends over is ok :)
Apartment is also LGBTQ friendly!
