Looking for someone to take over my sublease in this gem of an apartment with some pretty nice perks (new finishings, dishwasher, and free laundry)
The apartment: It's in a beautiful brownstone, with a new kitchen, big fridge, full oven/stove, even a dishwasher. Cute arched doorways between kitchen and living area. Original tin ceilings (painted white) throughout and exposed brick in the living room area. The living area is bright and looks onto a private outdoor space. The building only has a few units, so it's quiet. THE BUILDING HAS FREE LAUNDRY, which is amazing.
The room: Small, but comfortably fits a full bed, has a nice closet with mirrored door, parquet wood floors, and a ceiling fan. I'm taking my bed with me, but would be open to leaving the other furniture-- shelving, bureau, etc if you wanted.
The roommate: 26yo lawyer (female) who is chill and really nice, understanding of others, and responsible. Works a lot. Has a cat, so you must be cat-friendly!
Move-in: Dec 7--- somewhat flexible
The term: At least until Feb. 28, 2015, with the option to stay until Sept. 1., 2015.
Cost: $1200 includes all utilities including electricity and internet. Also free laundry!
Transportation: F, G, R a 5 minute walk away.
Area: Right off 5th Ave-- Adorable. In love with Park Slope! Tons of natural grocers, a nice YMCA and lots of gyms close by, Prospect Park, cute bars and restaurants.... really everything you could want.
