The rent is affordable at $1550/month including utilities for a full year lease. No short term inquiries please, we are looking for a minimum one year commitment. 2.5 bathrooms, spiral center staircase, country style eat in kitchen, charming backyard with oldest registered black walnut tree in Brooklyn, non-working marble fireplace mantels in every room. This is a one family home with all common areas shared. The two tenants have their own floor and share one bathroom between the two bedrooms. No pets, no smoking in the house. House common areas are tastefully furnished but the bedroom for rent is unfurnished. Tenants can bring some furniture also for the common areas and we can rearrange to accommodate. My wife and I live on the top floor with our 11 year old daughter with us. So you must feel comfortable having a kid around the house. We have rented this way for years and always treat our tenants not as "boarders" but as if our house is their home as well. The other tenant is a great lady who is in her second stint living with us!
The house is in the North Slope, a few steps away from 7th avenue shopping, 5th avenue dining and wonderful Prospect. Short walks to the 2,3, F, B, Q and R trains.
