Room available starting June 1st for 1 year (or through August 2018) in the trendy neighborhood of Park Slope, Brooklyn for $950/month. The apartment is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom. The room available is 12.5? x 6? with a tin ceiling, nice size closet and a west facing window. It is big enough for a full/double bed, small bookshelf and desk. (It is currently furnished with a twin bed, desk, and chair, which may be purchased from the current tenant or all removed prior to your arrival.)

Walk up two flights in a clean well-kept building, enter a fully-stocked, eat-in-kitchen with south facing window, tin ceilings, a newer stove and oven with exhaust fan hood, microwave, and cast iron double sink. The eat-in-kitchen has a separate dining area with four seats. Good-size, fully-furnished living room also with tin ceiling, south facing window and a big double closet to share with overhead storage, great for winter coats, shoes, and luggage. Charming vintage tile bath with vanity and white cast iron tub in good condition.

The common areas are fully furnished and the kitchen is pretty much fully stocked. Please, no smoking of anything and no loud parties here. My kitchen is vegetarian/vegan.

Paying rent and bills on time is a MUST. In addition to monthly rent, you would pay 50% of the Internet, electric, and cooking-gas bills (Typically $50-$60 a month per person); heat/hot water are included.
