Hi all -
I'm moving in with my boyfriend and sadly leaving my wonderful roommate behind in our lovely 2bd apartment.

Located at the intersection of Prospect Heights, Park Slope, Fort Greene, and Downtown Brooklyn - you cannot find a more accessible spot. Pretty much all trains run within 10 min walking distance. The Bergen 2/3 is right around the corner.

The top floor full floor apartment is spacious with a separate kitchen, living room and 2 bedrooms located on opposite ends of the apartment. The bedroom for rent is very large to begin with, and there is an additional small office or storage space (could even be used as a walk in closet?!) right off of the room. The room is separated from the common space by a hallway - so it is very private. The ceilings are very tall - the main bedroom has a closet, 2 large windows, and original molding details. The smaller office has it's own window as well.

The room faces on to Bergen Street - the location of the apartment is close to the intersection of Flatbush Ave but set in far enough on the block that noise is limited to typical city noise.

My roommate for the past 3 years is a working professional in her early 30s, originally from California. She moved to NYC 5 years ago for grad school at Columbia. You will not find a better person to share space with! In her words: "I've never lived with someone who I did not become close friends with." She is clean, but not neurotic, and can quote lines from the Office on demand. She has a cat named Leo who loves boxes. He is very well cleaned up after - please feel free to reach out with any questions.

The listing is for taking over my lease until July directly through the landlord - option to extend will likely be available.
