Our apartment is a 3-bedroom in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, 2nd floor, on a quiet street. There is laundry in the basement and only 4 units in our building, so the laundry machines are nearly always available. We?re only a short walk from the 2 and 5 Subway lines and about a 15 minute walk away from the Q and B. Rent is $867 per month with partial utilities included. This neighborhood and this apartment have been super good to us and we would love to find someone else to share it with!
My roommate and I are currently looking for a third roommate to take over the room when our old roommate moves out! My name is Emma and I am a law school student and my roommate's name is Carlee and she works as a professional in the publishing industry. We are looking for someone willing to sign a year lease with us from August 2020 to August 2021, who is generally quiet and neat, either a student or a professional in any capacity. We use the living room a lot, watching TV and movies or reading, and the kitchen is spacious and great for people who love to cook, but find themselves in a New York City apartment without much space. We also have a cat, Luna, who is eager to meet her new roommate! Due to the pandemic, we have been trying and failing to find a new roommate, and are looking for someone who is willing to sign a lease relatively soon, so that we can ensure we know who we're living with. No security deposit or any other type of deposit required!
More details: the room is kind of small (to be expected in New York) but it?s at the end of the hall near the bathroom and is secluded from the rest of the apartment. We also have 3 different storage closets and 2 of them are on that side of the apartment. My roommate and I already have a lot of furniture so the only thing the new roommate would need is stuff for their bedroom!
