Huge 370sq feet Room in Lefferts Gardens

This is a truly huge bedroom available for immediate rent; the room is about 370sq feet, with space to be used as a living area with couch within the room. The space gets beautiful morning light. It also includes an AC unit.

About this home:
The apartment itself is beautiful and large with hardwood floors and tile bathroom. Our kitchen is equipped with utensils, microwave, and other appliances, but anything you want to bring is welcomed.
There is laundry in the basement of the building.

About the neighborhood:
We are located in Lefferts Gardens neighborhood by the Church Ave Q, giving immediate access to Q, B, and S trains, commuting to union square in less than 30 minutes. This is a Prospect Park park-side neighborhood. There are great restaurants, grocery stores, multiple health food stores, organic markets, delis, laundromats, great coffee shops and bars!

About us:
We are a couple that work and study at a drama school (before COVID-19). We are very respectful and clean people, cleaning the common areas everyday. Though we don?t expect the same level of cleanliness from our potential roommate, we are looking for someone who contributes to the hygiene of the space; never leaving dishes, no shoes in the house, at least bi-weekly cleaning of the common areas etc.
Cats are considered, as the space is pet friendly.
We have a sweet dog named Lucy who lives with us, always in our space, she is super sweet with cats, just not with dogs usually.

The things we are looking for in a roommate:
-We are looking for someone honest and friendly, while also understanding privacy.
-We are looking for someone who is not a night owl.
-Taking precautions against COVID-19 (sanitizing hands when coming in the door etc.).
-Someone who maintains a high level of communication; this means notifying us if they want to bring guests in or if they?re going away for any time.
-Someone who always pays rent on time, and respects the agreement.
-We are looking for a roommate that we can add on to the lease after some months.

Rent:
The rent is 1200 dollars for the room, and utilities included.

Application will go through the rental agency; they ask basic financial statements, references, and the proof that you can pay, but they are very easygoing and willing to work with you.

Moving forward:
Move in is immediate. We are happy to schedule in-person distanced meetings with potential roommates, and to do video-call meetings/showings. We can also send a filmed tour of the space upon request!
