Description
Hi everyone! My roommate and I are both looking to sublet our second-story walk-up 2-bedroom apartment. We are offering each bedroom separately for $1,500 or the whole apartment for $3,000 per month from April 1 to June 30 with the option to renew. We could be flexible with an April 15 move in, if necessary.
*You can also choose to skip the 3-month sublet and sign a new 12-month lease for the same price*
The building is new, situated between the Hewes and Marcy stops on the JZ line (one stop to Manhattan). It's just a short walk (less than a half mile) to the G and L trains, too. The unit comes with large floor-to-ceiling windows (aka lots of sunlight), central air and heat, a video intercom system, hardwood floors, and gorgeous cabinetry and kitchen fixtures (appliances less than a year old). There's roof access with a pretty view of the Manhattan skyline and a HUGE landscaped, fully furnished backyard space, which is especially great if you have a dog. Speaking of, pets are totally fine, and laundry is located in the building.
The only utilities that aren't covered by the landlord include wifi and electric. With the two combined, this costs about $50 a month per person (or $100 altogether).
There are lots of shops, grocery stores, and restaurants nearby. My favorite is The Ainslie (truffle fries, vodka penne, eggs benny), and then there's Kellogg's Diner, Modern Love, Williamsburg Pizza, Lighthouse, Starbucks, etc. It only takes about 15 minutes to walk to both McCarren Park and Domino Park.
The only requirements from the landlord include a salary of 40x the rent or a guarantor.
I also have a YouTube video of the space, but it won’t let me post it here, so shoot me a message and I can send the link.
