Description
Hi!
I'm Tony.
I have a second bedroom available in my awesome Lake Merritt pad.
The apartment is in Cleveland Heights, right near the Cleveland Cascade, a few blocks from the Lake. It is a gated building with a pool. The place has a safe, quiet, excluded feel and is perfect if you work from home, or want a chill atmosphere while still being walking-distance from all the goodies (Lakeshore, Grand Lake Theater, OMCA, BART, etc). Street parking is good (a neighbor parks a dang McLaren here. Go figure).
The pics with the furniture are of the actual place, but if you search the address you'll find the building website, where you can see what it is like in the raw (which is how your room will be). Note-- site has been under construction
I am a 44-year-old professional Social and Emotional Learning workshop facilitator, and a public Speaker on issues related to Emotional Intelligence. During spring and fall seasons I travel around 3 weeks of the month, so I am gone a bunch during the week and home for the weekend. In the summer I am around much more. I am also a musician (jazzy bluesy tiki lounge-y and rock n' roll) but I usually practice guitar and write music without an amplifier, so I am quiet. Early to bed, early to rise, never partying, keep it clean.... I'm easy to live with. C'mon; I teach people to get along for a living! EASY! You should know that my politics are more aligned with FDR than any current politician seems to be. I am a non-authoritarian, economically-left-ist who reads philosophy and nerds out on post-structural semiotics and cultural histories.
I'm not sure the dimensions of your room.... um, it is big enough for a queen bed, dresser and TV stand or desk. It has a closet you can go in and do the hokey pokey if you feel it. More closet space is available just outside in the hall, too. I am not taking pictures out of respect for the current, outgoing resident, but if you are considered for the room I will show it to you (obviously) and I will take pics when I can.
The price I've listed is a flat rate that includes all utilities, wifi, streaming TV, and the occasional cleaning service. Security deposit can be negotiated when we speak about the place.
Dogs and Cats are ok if they pass my thorough interviewing process.
Extra credit if you are an artist, politically informed, and/or do something that makes the world more awesome (yes, this is subjective). Talk soon, future roomie!
