LOOKING FOR: Late 20’s - mid 30’s female (her/hers and/or they/them) individual to fill the 5th room in our very special household.

SUBLET TIME FRAME: July and August; with possibility for extended month-to-month lease in another smaller room (for $700) after August

THE ROOM: A medium-sized bedroom on the upper level with great natural lighting, a large closet, and a bathroom right next to it. Bathroom and additional hallway shoe closet shared with upper floor housemate. Unfurnished.

THE HOUSE: 2 levels, with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom on the second level and 3 bedrooms and one bath on the ground floor. Amazing communal spaces which include a large kitchen, dining room, and living room. Dishwasher, washer and dryer in house. The front yard is primarily a driveway, but with a lot of potential for creating a small outdoor sitting and sun-bathing area.

ABOUT US: We are 27-35 yr old creatives who consider our home a sanctuary and also a place of growth with chill cats to match :) A powerhouse, complete with a badass union organizer, a wellness and human development coach, a physical therapist and dancer, and an artist/ figure model/ art teacher. We have housemate checkin’s, a chore wheel, occasional movie nights, game nights, and random dance parties! This home is all about community and communication. We have grown to be friends rather than just roommates. We all have our own lives and schedules, meaning sometimes the house is full and sometimes everyone is away, and everything in between. You can join us at the dining room table for co-working or in the living room for catching a moment to chill, chat and laugh.

CATS: We have three cats, although only 1 lives in the shared spaces. The second stays in a housemate's room, and the third lives outside. If going to extend past August, must be okay with sharing responsibility for feeding and purchasing cat food

LOCATION: In between Temescal and Emeryville neighborhoods. Two blocks away from Safeway, Home Depot, Ulta, Target, Michaels, etc. And 6 blocks away from MacArthur Bart Station.
