Looking for a housemate to share my 2,400/sf massive tri-level loft studio space. The building used to be a foundry and remnants of metal tracks are left crossing through the artist studio flooring, exposed structural posts, pipes and i-beams are also part of the architecture. The location couldn't be better, you? re in the heart of Jingletown, an East Bay Art destination point. Walking distance from great food in Alameda, nightlife, the estuary, BART and three exits away from the Oakland Airport. Easy access to 80 & 880 freeways and 15 miles away from San Francisco. As you can tell, this isn't a standard living space, so if you're down for a quirky and unique, you will definitely have a lot of fun living in this environment.

The room loft is 12' x 20', located in the top floor with hardwood flooring and 180 degree airscape view of 880 and the Oakland Hills. The common area also has hardwood flooring having an open plan of the living room, dining room and kitchen area with an eat-in breakfast nook. There are 3 skylights throughout the space, which give out lots of light in the studio and common areas. The studio area has concrete floors and a roll-up door, access from the artist workspace and outside for easy loading. We also get rockstar designated parking. Laundry is available in the building premises.

About me: I'm a professional, laid back, outgoing, tidy (but flexible about temporary mess), sociable, fun and works in the design industry. I enjoy a good work/life balance. When I'm home, I like my down time and love to have friends over and have small gatherings once in a while, and up for out of town visitors on occasion. Part of the household is a sweet, gentle, discerning watchdog.

About you: A housemate who is single, gainfully employed and/or financially stable. Likes living in a clean area and who is responsible and respectful of the home and privacy (as I will be of yours), good natured and easy to get along with, non-smoker. Ideally someone with a similar outgoing personality and lifestyle.
