Large furnished bedroom in quiet neighborhood.

The room available is newly painted (approximately 14 x 12), with wood floors, a large closet, a double adjustable bed, a nightstand, and a dresser. The room has an excellent large window bringing in the fantastic, westerly sun. The room is more relaxed in the afternoons as the sun heads eastwards. The room also contains light/fan, Accommodations include shared full bathroom, separate refrigerator, shared galley kitchen, washer/dryer, internet, living room, and sunroom with adjacent covered patio. I also run a Hepa Air Filter cleaning machine that is pretty high-tech. It not only cleans the air of dust, dander, and particles but also washes the air from mold spores, viruses, bacteria, unwanted smells, and airborne toxins—an excellent accessory for those of us who have allergies, asthma, and a compromised immune system.

My home is quaint and cozy. Built in 1953, my place has character.. Most days, you can hear the distant sound of the train, many birds coming to outside feeders, and a peaceful neighborhood. All living spaces except the kitchen/sunroom are the original oak flooring. The living room/dining room has a gas fireplace insert for those chilly days over the winter. A/C for the summertime. I recently went Solar and have converted to primarily electrical home gear. There is an E. V hook up and parking in the driveway.

I am Looking for a quiet, clean-as-you-go, no-drama, no drugs, and no alcohol roommate to share my home. I can provide a haven for a renter interested in a calm living place. I, myself, enjoy the sound of silence in my house. I wear earbuds when using electronics and have an Echo Speaker as a timer, calendar reminder, daily news commentary, and weather reports. I am not necessarily a neat Nick. After raising three daughters I do expect a level of cleanliness, I ask that you clean the kitchen directly after use, leaving the rooms you use as they were found when done using., and no food or drink other than the dinning table. I clean the house once weekly; if you want your room cleaned, I can accommodate you with a vacuum and floor cleaning. Your room needs to be tidy.

I recently moved to Fresno to be closer to family. The house is still unpacking, which I work on every day. I foster kittens from The Cat on the Kings non-profit, and I have three adult cats and hens. I do volunteer work for the Salvation Army and enjoy gardening. I am in the process of making my front yard water-wise, which hopefully will be completed in the fall. I am easy to talk to and always glad to adjust my direction if needed.
