Private Room in DTLA Loft

I’m (25m) looking to rent the second bedroom of my dtla loft. I’ve been in the apartment for two years and my current roommate is moving out in August.

It’s a super cool space with high ceilings, polished concrete and big windows (made better by the fact that its a corner unit). The view is solid too - looks east from the fourth floor and you can see over all the buildings in that direction. The building is generally pretty quiet and the bedrooms are on opposite ends of the apartment so you can get plenty of privacy. One of the bedrooms is bigger and has an en suite bathroom, the other has the bathroom right next to it. Both rooms have big windows and walk-in closets. I’m happy to switch rooms depending on preference.

The living room is largely furnished save for a few items that my roommate is taking, but there will definitely be room for some new pieces depending on what you want to bring.

The building has great amenities including a rooftop pool, basketball court, a gym, and lots of rooftop seating areas where you get awesome views of downtown. There are some amazing local restaurants in the ground floor (it’s basically a food court) and the area generally has great bars and food. Lil tokyo / arts district are a 10 min walk to the north, and you’ll be convenient to the financial district and USC as well.

About me - I work at a tech startup and will probably continue to work from home most of the time in the foreseeable future (I use my walk-in as an office so I won’t be in the way if you also wfh). When I’m not doing that I’m probably at some random bar in downtown or the arts district, and if it’s winter I’m trying to ski as many weekends as I can afford to. I don’t have any pets but it’s totally fine if you do as long as its not like a tarantula or something.

I’m willing to do a minimum 3 month lease which would technically start Aug 23 but you can probably move in sooner since my current roommate will be out before then. Hit me up if you want any more info.
