Open room starting Sept 16th. Rent is 1,300 + some Utilities split (water, electricity, trash collection).
My current roommate is moving back east in Sept, so looking for someone to take over his portion of lease (lease runs till Aug 15, 2024).
About me: 34yrs old. I work in the Media Industry and moved to the West Coast a few years ago from the East Coast. Easy to get along with and easy to live with. Don't mind hanging out on occasional or can keep to ourselves (whatever is preferred).
Bed in picture is included (only 1 year old). High quality, very comfortable Full XL (width of a full and length of a queen for reference) - Brooklyn Bedding-sedona. New set of sheets included. Room has a deep closet and it's own private bathroom connected to room. The bathroom does have another door from hallway, but will not be used. This will be your bathroom alone (if I have any guest over, they'll only use the bathroom in my room). We have a storage closet with several deep shelves in the hall - large enough to fit luggage, etc (shared).
This apartment has its own washer/dry room off the hallway, large kitchen with breakfast counter and large living room with great light. I've fully furnished the apartment already with large couches, TV, coffee table, etc. Kitchen is also fully stocked with the usuals (can make space for anything additional).
The room will be unfurnished other than a bed (roommate may be open to selling his desk and anything else he currently has).
Apartment is kept clean, so looking for someone who will help keep the place clean to avoid any bugs. Building does a great job of keeping things clean as well. Not having seen a single bug in the apartment is a blessing, as I've lived in some places in DTLA where a roach here and there was just bound to be seen - NOT here!!
Building has a rooftop with a hot tub, seating area and a grill. There' s a full gym in the building at no extra cost and lounge room. Parking is also available in the buildings attached garage (monthly fee). I believe they offer extra storage space for a fee as well (haven't used so not sure of size or cost). Also an available bike room.
There's someone at the front desk 24hrs a day (all of whom are really nice). They'll hold any large deliveries at the front desk. All other packages will be placed inside AMAZON lockers next to the mailroom (never worry about not getting your packages again!).
This apartment is a steal for the rent, size, quality, building and location. Very rarely see any homeless people or sketchy people hanging around and within walking distance to almost everything you'd want/need.

- 1-block from Grand Central Market (lot of great food choices)
- 1 block from Pershing Square / Perch rooftop
- Few blocks from many other bars
- Quick access to 110 and 101
Building is a non-smoking building, however, vape pens aren't an issue. Building is Pet friendly (fee).
