Share Big House with Elderly Retired Woman

Hi! I am reaching out on my mom's (Diane's) behalf. She has a 5 bedroom house in Granada Hills and would like to invite someone who needs a place to consider renting out the back furnished room (14' x 15').

You would have access to the whole house - living room, kitchen, laundry, backyard and garden - with a separate entrance and your own bathroom. Since you would be a lodger in the house, however, there would be no overnight guests permitted. She also can't accommodate pets - sorry.

Diane has someone come to take her to appts in the mornings and do light housework, and someone to cook dinner for her in the evenings. There is no expectation of caregiving.

A bonus would be someone who enjoys gardening; we could reduce rent to $400/mo for 15-30 minutes watering, picking up in the backyard each day.

Ultimately looking for someone who is quiet yet cordial and caring.
