I have a temporary bedroom available, ideal for someone who wants to live in a professional's environment and close to the beach for the short term. The room is fully furnished with a futon bed (with bedding), 2 nice night stands, an IKEA desk and chair, a personal heater and a fan.

The 2BR/1BA apartment is at the corner of 17th and Pacific Coast Highway, which comes with tandem parking spots for 2. The available bedroom is approximately 10'x11', not including the wide closet (both rooms are about the same size). The cost of all utilities (which includes electricity, gas, internet, and a weekly maid service) are included.

The rent is as follows:
$500/week (1+ weeks)
$1800/month (1+ months)

$1200/month (4+ months)

The common spaces, including the living room, kitchen, and bathroom are fully stocked with furniture, dishes, rags, etc. As I love watching movies, the living room also has a home theater system, complete with a projector and excellent sound system. The apartment itself is pretty awesome. It is available immediately.

The complex has 20 apartment units with a pool, I have a BBQ (which you're free to use), coin-op laundry, and is ~7min walking distance (through the park) from Pier Ave in Hermosa Beach (which houses a number of pubs, restaurants, etc.). Right next door is a 24 hour fitness, Vons, Ralphs, CVS, etc. The landlord will require a background check, etc.

As for me: I'm 36, male, with a graduate degree in electrical engineering. I'm usually very busy, but I do like to get to know my roommates. I try to go to the gym in the morning and come home around 8/9p. I also like to try and spend some time at the beach on weekends.

I need to live in a clean house with clean roommates; I don't function well in a messy place. To keep that under control, I hire the cleaning lady, but also expect my roommate to generally be tidy. Other than that, I'm pretty laid back about most things. I am and expect my roommate to be ok with overnight guests, including friends and family visiting.
