1 BR w/private bath & parking. The room is unfurnished but some furnishing could be provided.

Unit has AC, balcony, laundry. and is nonsmoking. The complex has courtyard, pool, hot tub, onsite staff. Complex & unit are chill/relax places w/no wild parties.

1st month rent + equal security deposit req.

Open to short term to start and see how things go.

The existing roommate - Overview:
I’m covid vaccinated and need proof of the same from a roommate. I’m welcoming to and encouraging of all races, ethnicities, and LGBTQ+.

I’m a professional w/a ~45lbs dog. My office is starting to reopen but for the foreseeable future I’ll be working from home most of the time.

The existing roommate - detailed:

I have a two year old female dog. She’s had private training, gets lots of exercise, is quiet, is crate/pen trained, and is allowed on furniture but rarely wants to.

I like rock shows, board games, comics, hiking, museums/galleries, comedies, sci-fi, fantasy, liberal stuff, dessert, lots of other things.

I’m from the US northeast. Boston is where I went to school and lived before LA.

I’m currently living alone. I’m looking for a roommate so I can save money and visit my east coast siblings more frequently.

I keep common areas tidy and clean. There’s regular sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc but not obsessive/consuming levels of sanitizing.

To me, open/honest discussions and direct conversations are the only way to have a functional living situation. Whether you like or dislike something, let another person know early and work together with respect.

I’m currently working from home full time. My office is starting to reopen but I’ll be working from home minimally most days for the foreseeable future. It’s a very stable job and employer. I’ve worked there since April 2017.

I don’t need to be exactly like my roommate, just need them to have definite ability to pay, not make a mess, and able to talk about apartment stuff well. So long as that is happening, if we clicked and became good friends that would be a bonus.
