One roommate, no couples. Prioritizing queer/nb/female folks who want to stay longterm. The qualities that matter most to me in a roommate are mutual respect for each other and the space, direct and compassionate communication, and cleanliness / a willingness to split regular chores and duties. Open to you having cats! Sorry, but no doggos!

Only carpeting in the place is on the stairs.
The kitchen has all appliances including dishwasher!
DOWNSTAIRS has a living room with projector, record player, and surround sound, a large eat-in kitchen with a small patio, and a half-bath with bidet.
UPSTAIRS are 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom and an in-unit washer/dryer.
KEEP IN MIND:
The room does not come with a parking spot — there is ample street parking, so that will never be an issue for you or any guests! There is no AC in the bedroom, but there's a unit upstairs as well as downstairs, and the place is insulated and has eco double-pane windows.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Frogtown is a safe and diverse community of single family homes mixed with apartment buildings. The LA River bike/walking path is a 10 minute walk away. Eateries within the same walking distance are: La Colombe, Spoke Cafe, Just What I Kneaded, Wax Paper, Lingua Franca, Frogtown Brewery, and Loreto.
ABOUT ME:
I’m a 32-year-old, white, queer, cis woman, and I use she/her or they/them pronouns. I like to have friends over a couple nights a week to either play board games or have dinner/screenings on the projector. I’m busy socially so I go out a lot, too. I like to use house products that are as sustainable/ eco-friendly as possible. I don’t drink but don’t mind if you do. Also 420 friendly.
