HUGE Master Bedroom in Santa Monica - 8min walk to

My partner and I (1 male and 1 female) are looking for a third roommate (female preferred) to live with us in a 3 bed and 1.5-bathroom apartment in Santa Monica. You would get the 227 square foot private master bedroom with its own private, half bathroom. Room will be unfurnished. This room is huge and around the same size as a small studio! There is a full-sized kitchen and living room.

The apartment is in an amazing location. Only an 8-minute walk from the beach and close to Downtown Santa Monica and Main St; lots of restaurants/stores around the area. ~12-minute walk to Expo Line metro stop. 93 Walk Score. We are looking for a roommate (female preferred) within our age group (20s to 30s) who is fully employed and has good credit. It is nice to have roommates that double as friends, but we can also be professional if you prefer. We both work mostly from home. We are happy to show the place in person or have a video call!

Details:

Rent: $1,475/month. Security deposit: $1,000. $2,475 total due for move-in. We would be open to a couple/pair sharing the room for an extra $150, so $1,625/month. This is a rent-controlled unit!

Lease terms: Month-to-month lease. However, we would prefer someone who plans to stay a while, at least 6 months. We are open to short-term rentals for an extra $80/month. There is a $50 application fee to the property management, and you would be put on the official lease as a subtenant.

Move-in date: ASAP. We would prefer no later than 11/01/22.

Utilities: water and trash included. Electricity, gas, and internet would be separate. Usually around ~$60-$75/month per person.

Parking: Parking spot available for an additional $100/month (single, not tandem!). Parking lot is gated. There is also lots of street parking available, and parking permits are around $35 for the entire year.

Other: Laundry room on-site. Gated apartment complex. No AC; we rarely need it here, so we use fans those few weeks of heat.

Must be okay with cats! No other pets allowed as we have a cat living with us already.
