Live 3 blocks from the BEACH!

I have a beautiful bedroom available for rent in my 2 bed/2 bath apartment located in the Ocean Park area of Santa Monica, right on the Venice border and only blocks from the beach.

Restaurants, bars, and shopping on Main St. is just one block away.

The available room is spacious with a large walk-in closet and built-in shelves, and comes with a private on-suite full bathroom. The rest of the apartment is already furnished, and features a dishwasher and a shared washer/dryer (shared by the tenants of the 6 unit building).

Parking is street parking, which is permit only so it’s never hard finding a spot.

Rent is $1778.25 per month until September 1, 2024, at which time rent increases occur. Santa Monica is is rent controlled though so you can expect a modest increase of around $100 each year. You will also be responsible for half of all utilities (gas, cable/wifi, electric). Water is paid for by building owner.

I prefer a lease term of at least 1 year, but may consider a 6 month lease for the right person.

About me: I’m a responsible and easy going 36-year-old professional in tech who works from home full-time and a proud puppy mom to a 7-year-old boxer mix named Atlas, so you must be comfortable with him (bonus points if you can babysit when I’m out of town from time to time!). In my free time, I enjoy working out, trying new restaurants, sipping on wine, traveling, and spending quality time with my pup.

I am looking for a roommate who is a non-pet owner and a non-smoker. Ideally someone who is laid back and friendly, not a partier (don’t mind the occasional friends over as long as the noise level is respectful.) Overnight guests are fine as long as it’s not every night. It’s also important that my roommate love dogs since I have a furry friend at home. It’s cool if we have some of the same interests, and can grab dinner from time to time but can also respect eachother’s space. Overall just looking for a responsible and reliable roommate!
