Nice room in 2 BR 1-1/2 bath townhouse

Hi.

I have a nice carpeted bedroom available in the townhouse I rent. The room measures 9 x 12 and it has a nice ceiling fan with lights. There is also a lot of sunlight in this room and you have a view of the courtyard with beautiful trees. There is a walk-in closet with shelves and plenty of room for storage.

The bedroom is not furnished so you can bring your own furniture. If you need it furnished then maybe you can find some furniture to rent temporarily if you are only staying for 2-6 months.

You would be sharing the master bath with my male roommate who rents the other bedroom. He has lived here for almost 2 years, and we get along pretty well. He is 29, very interested in basketball and football. He works as a waiter with normal working hours, which would be before 10 pm.

About myself, I am a female age 68 on a fixed income and I also supplement my income working part time on my computer doing various projects. In my spare time I enjoy taking pictures of nature on my daily walks. I reside on the first level of the townhouse due to a knee injury that prevents me from walking up and down the stairs regularly. So the living room can be used for watching a movie or reading or just hanging out and having dinner. I am more than willing to share the entertainment section of the living room (Sofa, Apple TV) and the patio when I am not working or sleeping.

Just so you understand, I am only interested in a new roommate who has normal normal working hours like 8-5 or 9-5 is preferred.

I am looking for someone who is kind and considerate of others. Someone who is willing to help clean the common areas and help take out the garbage. Just common courtesy so that the house runs smoothly and everyone pitches in to do their part in keeping the place clean.

I have allergies so please NO smoking of cigarettes. 420 is ok in moderation in your room with the window open.

Rent is $1,4000 Month which includes Spectrum Internet with 500 mbps/WIFI, and all utilities (Gas and Electric). Security Deposit is $1,400.

There is a laundry room on the premises with 1 washer and 2 dryers. If you prefer to use a laundromat for heavy items or comforters, there is a really nice laundromat close by.

Parking is street parking.

This townhouse is close to Venice Blvd. with an abundance of grocery stores and restaurants. It is also not too far from the beach. It is also very close to the Metra line.
