The common area is enormous & brightly lit, with tile floors, ample seating, & a TV+Roku generally free for solo or communal viewing. Kitchen area has granite counter space & is well stocked with shared utensils & appliances (including dishwasher & large, new gas oven/range). Laundry washer/dryer are in unit, though coin-op laundry room is also on premises. There is a pool which is both clean & mostly (blissfully) ignored by other residents.
This is a very safe & walkable neighborhood. Building is across the street from Ralph?s, Walgreens, LA Fitness. We?re located a 1/2 mile from LA Valley College & an Orange Line connection to the North Hollywood metro hub. Neighborhood had sidewalk-access to additional (less expensive) grocery, salons, & restaurants.
We have a cat but can provide a gate to keep her from your room. Each of us have our own experiences with psychiatric illness/ chronic pain & we are compassionate to the needs of others with similar experiences. We ask that alcohol consumption be limited to personal rooms, rather than the common area.
