Private 1Bed/1Bath available in a 2 Bed/2Bath Apt!

Hey everyone! I'm renting out 1 bedroom in a 2 bed/2 bath apartment at the Colony at the Lakes in West Covina. Available to move in now!

Anyways, I'm looking for a clean and financially stable roommate. Not asking for a whole lot more than that, but preferably someone in their 20's or 30's. Please read the whole posting if you're interested! I'm going to take down this post when I've found a good match.

So here are the details: You would have your own room, own closet, own full bathroom, and covered garage parking spot here. You'll have one entire side of the apartment to yourself since the bedrooms are split onto separate sides of the apartment. Since I'm on the ground floor, my apartment is fitted with vaulted ceilings, so it's got a nice open feel with the high ceilings. There's also a washer and dryer in unit (no coin laundry or laundromat problems here!), and the entire apartment is furnished with the exception of the room you're renting. I have no problem with light cooking as long as you clean up after yourself. Also, no overnight guests or pets please. I just ask that you be clean and respectful here! Smoking is no problem out on the patio, and drinking is no problem :). Utilities would be split (Internet, water, gas, trash, sewage, electricity).

You'll get full access to the apartment amenities, which include a 2-floor gym, a basketball court (located right outside my unit), a swimming pool, grills, social courtyards, a lounge, and a beautiful workspace. We're right off the 10 freeway too so it's really convenient.

Here's just a little info about me: I'm 32 (I'm a guy), and I work for Hacienda La Puente Unified School District a little ways down the road. I'm originally from the east coast, but made the switch to the west coast 7 years ago.

If you're interested, you would have to add your name to the lease in order to get on board. As long as you have a credit score over 550 and no crazy stuff on your background check (criminal history or other concerns), there's an application fee ($45). They'll run a background check on you, run your credit, and look at your most recent paystubs for verification of income.

So my current roommate has moved out, and the remainder of my lease goes until the end of May 2020.
