Sanctuary by the Sea – Nearby Newport

We have a cute & comfy large size furnished room for rent in our home. 10.5 x 11 with a large closet of 9 feet x 2.5 feet. Cathedral ceiling, windows with views of large trees.

We are 40+, artsy, homebodies that spend most our time together. The perfect match for our rental room would be someone who has a full/busy life and isn’t a homebody. We have a happy, peaceful, homey place. We’re glad to say hello but are not looking to hang out.

The room being rented has it’s own basic food prep items of microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, fridge w/freezer. The room is best for someone who doesn’t love to cook, as there isn’t access to the households kitchen.

We don’t have communal areas of the house. The space for rent is the private room and access to the shared bath, or private bath for small upgrade fee.

We welcome a mature, well-mannered person of any age. We are up at odd hours, so if that make you uncomfortable or you’re a sensitive sleeper, this may not be a good match. We do not have a curfew, you have 24-hour access to come and go and can use the shower day/or night.

Past renters that have worked out well and stayed with us for years we’re teachers, engineers, postal workers, home health aides, office workers, computer techs, software programmers… in general, peaceful and calm people.

Parking is on street
