30 year old female looking for female roommate

Room availabkle in apartment with private bathroom, access to full kitchen, living room, dining room and patio balcony. No pets currently, but cats/small dogs are acceptable. Apartment is furnished but your room would not be (it is in the pictures only because i dont have any pictures of it empty). As for me, my name is Emily, I’m 30 years old and I work as a bartender. First and foremost I would definitely say that I am a night owl - basically the opposite of a morning person in every way. I work evenings/nights serving drinks & typically get off work @ 2-3am, so I get home in the middle of the night and sleep until mid-morning/mid-day. I am a very clean/organized person, you won’t find a pile of dirty dishes in the sink, an overflowing trash can or dirty floors - and since the apartment is all hardwood flooring it gets dirty VERY quickly/easily so I tend to vacuum & steam clean it at least once a week. There is a washer & dryer in unit, however It is not full-sized and can only handle very small loads. Personally i don’t use it, my sister lives @ a mile away and I take all my laundry to her house to wash it. There is currently no cable tv set up as I stream everything I watch. I do currently have WiFi set up that I’m down to share & split the cost. I do have the ‘master’ bedroom with an attached bathroom, your bathroom is across the hall from your bedroom, but it is still fully yours, I don’t have any guests use it they always use mine. Because I have the master I pay proportionally more of the rent, which in total is $1805/month, with me paying $925 and you paying $880. I do have a boyfriend who comes over periodically & spends the night, but he has his own place and does NOT live here. I am looking for a roommate with potentially the same kind of situation or who is single, I am not looking for a couple that lives together (too much drama!) As for me, I am a very upbeat, positive person who finds humor in most things. I don’t let little things bother me, and I am the kind of person who prefers to talk about their feelings instead of bottling things up. I deeply dislike passive aggression, and if I’m doing something that bothers you please speak up and tell me so that I can address it! I’m the kind of person that is always willing to compromise and find a mutually beneficial solution to any problem. Lifestyle-wise, even though I am a bartender I don’t drink or smoke, but don’t have a problem with either as long as the drinking is in moderation and the smoking done outside. I live a pretty healthy, active lifestyle. I go to the gym multiple times a week, I like to run, practice yoga & meditation, and I drink ALOT of protein shakes/smoothies!! Lol the sound of the blender is a daily occurrence around here! Here are a few specifics that I feel should be discussed/disclosed up front: Air conditioning: during the day I keep the A/C set to 76 degrees, during peak hours from 5pm - 8pm i turn it up to 78 degrees, and at night I typically turn it off and open windows to let in the cool night air. Kitchen: we will split the fridge/freezer space, as well as cabinet space for food. I have dishes/silverware/pots & pans/appliances already that you are welcome to use, or if you have your own that you would like to use we can totally re-arrange/re-organize to incorporate anything you may have. Dishes: I do have a pet peeve about dirty dishes being left in the sink, please either rinse them & put them in the dishwasher or alternatively hand wash them & place them in the drying rack next to the sink. Lights: I typically leave either the hallway light or the lamp in the living room on at all times (I come and go @ night a lot & need to be able to see where I’m going), but other than that I always turn off lights when I leave the room. Trash: there is a service here that takes trash to the dumpster for you everyday if you put the trash can on the porch at certain hours, however I am usually not home at those times so I take the trash out myself every other day or so. I do also recycle so I collect CRV containers (aluminum cans & plastic bottles) and turn them in once a week. Parking: unfortunately there is only 1 garages/covered parking spot that is provided per unit, which I use for my car. You would have to park in one of the uncovered ‘guest’ parking spots, or if you have a handicap placard (like my old roommate) there are plenty of handicap spots close by. Other Amenities: Pool - there are 2 different pools in this apartment complex, one with a hot tub, that is accessible with a key that I will give you a copy of. Workout room - there is also a small workout facility, it has a treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike, some free weights and a workout machine kind of like a Bowflex that is also accessible via key. I’m hoping to find a roommate that can move in at the end of the month/beginning of July. My current roommate gave me extremely short notice that she is moving out & I definitely can’t afford to pay the full rent amount on my own so finding a new roommate is a vital priority for me! 😊
