Private furnished room with semi-shared bathroom

Hello! I have a spacious room on the 2nd floor of my home with a semi-shared bathroom in a 4 bedroom, 2-story house located in northeast Escondido right off I-15. It’s situated on a quiet culdesac with street parking, lots of walking paths and trees. It’s only a 6 mile drive to CSUSM and Palomar, or a 30 minute bike ride! The house has a covered patio with an outdoor firepit, garden, and fountains, perfect for someone who enjoys stepping outside or sipping a cup of coffee while watching the birds. The bathroom would mostly be used by you, with sharing of tub/shower. Must be vaccinated and community conscious and okay with a sweet dog that is friendly with people, but not other animals. Rent includes a heated swimming pool within walking distance, use of washer and dryer, internet, and city utilities. You will need to pitch in for the SDGE bill (ranging $60-85/mo) and there is currently no house phone or cable. Shared space includes kitchen, two refrigerators, dining area, living room with fireplace, large covered patio in backyard, and a fun recreation space in garage. There’s always parking on the street, neighbors are friendly, and there are tons of good restaurants, grocery stores, etc nearby.

I am a single, easygoing artist and semi-retired instructor, mom of 3 grown children, fun grandma, lover of music, dancing, and everything outdoors. 420 friendly and love taking my dog for walks. Looking for a well/grounded adult who takes iniative to help with shared chores and has a positive, friendly attitude. It's important to me to maintain good energy in my home, create a safe space for communication, and focus on gratitude!
