Room with a View

I'm offering a FURNISHED room for rent in my 3 bdrm, 2 bathroom home. I am Female, 46, a college grad., divorced but attached, responsible, drama-free, no drugs, and active single parent. The other roommate in the house is my 18 y. o. daughter who will be leaving for college in another city in August. She is clean, quiet, respectful, and as friendly as teens come (don't expect much lol). Located in a preferable area of City Heights near City Farmers Nursery (no helicopters all night or day, or transients around). We have a small dog (min pin) and a young indoor Persian cat.

$800/month plus $75 utilities ($875 total/month). In addition to your private room, rent includes internet, laundry on-site, one off-street parking in the driveway, access to the kitchen, and all the plates, pans, appliances, utensils, etc. in there. Shared shower with 2 females. The current occupant is a student at SDSU and will move out June 12. The room has a mini fridge, microwave, is furnished with an Olympic queen bed, wardrobe, lamp, rug, desk, and has an expansive view of Chollas Lake and Oak Park area to the east in the distance.

Located centrally in San Diego and very close to downtown. Near 805, 15 and 94 freeways. 10 min. to SDSU. 15-20 min to nearest beaches.

Dog possibly OK upon approval. Same goes for a cat. I love animals, but the resident min pin must approve.

Ideal candidate: good-excellent credit with verifiable, stable income. I will want to verify past rental history as well. Respectful, clean, mature (NO DRAMA).

Month to month OK, but I ask for a 2 month minimum. I ask for 1st and last month's rent plus $400 deposit to move in. Available June 13th.
