Room for Rent Central Richmond

Hello! I have a room available for rent in a peaceful, clean 2 bed/1 bath flat starting September 1st in an excellent neighborhood. The room would be empty and deep cleaned upon move-in. There is a bath tub for those who enjoy a good soak.

The home is right next to public transit including the 38, 31, 5, 1, 28, and 29. A couple of these have owl services that run all night. Just a block off Geary, we have all the convenience without the street noise. You can pretty much run all errands within a matter of blocks. Golden Gate Park, the Presidio, and the beach are an easy walk. USF is a straight shot on the bus, maybe 15-20 minutes. Commuting to the North Bay could not be easier.

The house has two resident cats, but we cannot have more pets. There is shared laundry among the 4 units in the building. There’s a dishwasher! Street parking is never too bad. It’s rare to have to park more than 2 blocks away. There is some storage space available besides the bedroom. You are welcome to use the stereo system, TV with streaming services, Nintendo Switch, and record player as you wish.

You’d be living with a full-time medical social worker who likes to keep things clean but won’t flip out if you leave a dish out once in a while. You have access to a plethora of cooking tools, spices, etc. I have a Costco card and once a month or so like to get bulk household items that we can split.

This room would be ideal for a working professional, student, or healthcare worker. Any gender is welcome. This is a Covid conscious household. I am queer so please be accepting of LGBTQ+ identities. I also have a disability so please be respectful of those who may not be completely able-bodied.

I don’t mind if you have guests over, just no live-in partners, friends, etc. We don’t have to be best friends but it would be nice to get along and create a cozy space together. I prefer open communication and frequent check-ins to make sure we’re both feeling content in our home.
