Large bedroom (16' x 11') in cool old 1-story, 3-bedroom house. There is a good-sized living room and kitchen, all the usual amenities (+ dishwasher and disposal), a nicely styled bathroom w/ clawfoot, plus a garage with a washer/dryer and storage room for bikes/whatever. The immediate neighborhood is a bit Bernal, a bit Mission. Hardwood floors throughout. plus one of the comfier front stoops you'll find, on a small, atmospheric alley looking up Bernal Hill.

It's available April 1. The bedroom in question is shown in two photos. It can be semi-furnished, or not. The big shelving/dresser/closet unit against the back wall is permanent. We also have a nice futon on frame that we can put in there. May 1 start is also fine.

Your roommates would be 2 guys. Me: graphic designer, ex-film and music maker, leaseholder, 50s. The other: motorcycle mechanic, 30s. We seem pretty cool and fun to me. We both work M-F 9-5, and like the common areas to be reasonably quiet after 11pm during the week. We like all the usual city activities: getting good cheap eats around the hood, going to see movies, music, art, etc., getting a few beers at local dives.

We are looking for someone who we mesh well with, intends to stay long-term, and who we might enjoy hanging out with from time to time. We are fairly clean and tidy, so someone like that would be best. Sorry, the landlord doesn't allow pets or couples.

Utilities come to $115/person (wi-fi, cable, central heat, electricity, gas, garbage, water), and are paid with rent. So the total is $1200.

Within 1 block are the 14/49 Mission lines, J Church, 24 Divis & 36 Teresita. 24th St BART is walkable and very bicycle-able.
