1 room in 3 bed 2 bath townhouse in cap hill

Looking for a roommate to fill the third bedroom in this 3 bed 2 bath townhouse in cap hill. Rent is $800 + utilities and internet.

About the house: the house has a detached garage and second off street parking spot. We can figure out sharing the spots if you have a car, residential street parking pass is easy to get! There is also a Trader Joe’s a block away.

The house is older, but has modern updates (like a gas stove and central ac). All of the bedrooms were painted last month. It has a back patio and unfinished basement with plenty of room for storage! Currently there isn’t much in the way of furnishings inside the house so there’s a lot of opportunity for us to create whatever kind of space we’d like to live in!

About the roommates:

Duncan: “hi! My name is Duncan and I am a 29 year old musician. I also work full time as a barista Monday - Friday mornings. I am out of town for weeks at a time, a couple of times per year. Occasionally I offer the living room as a place for musician friends to crash when they are passing through town, on tour (emphasis on the occasionally). Although I am a musician, I don’t rehearse at home or make a ton of noise. You’ll usually find me plugged into my laptop, editing videos or music, if I’m hanging out at home. I also have a 5 year old, medium sized dog named Juno. She’s very sweet and loves people!”

Hope: Hi, the name’s Hope. If you want to do the stereotypical Colorado things (hiking, climbing, yoga) I’ll be a great person to live with! I am a clinical mental health counselor, and hobby enthusiast. Don’t be surprised if you see me dancing around the living room, or climbing up walls like the girl from the grudge. (Just kidding, mostly). I’m very low key and easy to please. If you keep up with basic household chores and watch reality television with me, we’ll get along.

The two of us have been great friends for a few years and we’re looking forward to finding someone who would also be down to go out sometimes or just hangout at home and hang!

About you:

we are looking for someone who is easy going, likes to live in a clean place, and loves dogs. With that being said, we don’t really want to add another pet into the mix but are open to discussing it if you’re the right fit! This would be a great spot for someone who works remote since both hope and I work during the week out of the house!
