Renting out a Basement!

We are renting out a bedroom with a private, full bathroom, along with a massive, unfurnished living area where you can fit all your furniture! There’s enough space to fit workout equipment, a desk/office area, a dining room table, and a couch and TV, with room leftover! There isn’t a separate entrance for the basement, so you would need to enter through the first floor, and there isn’t a kitchen, so you would share the kitchen with the rest of us, but there is a bar area with a sink and shelves to keep drinks and snacks! There is also a shared laundry room in the basement.

- Two car garage
- We already have a dog and a cat in the house, so no more pets please!
- We allow marijuana smokers, but no cigarette smokers
- Must be up to date on Covid and flu vaccines as I am immunocompromised

Our goal in this household is to have a community; we are looking for a roommate who wants to be friends with us and is down for the occasional movie night. We try to help each other when we can and support each other. It’s important to me to keep things clean and tidy, but some mess is fine! We are liberal, pro LGBTQ, as previously mentioned. We try to be environmentally and politically conscious with our purchasing power and we always make sure to recycle. We like to have monthly roommate meetings and be honest about what things are bothering us in the house; communication is key!
