Lakewood Room for Rent

Furnished or unfurnished room for rent in Kendrick Park neighborhood of Lakewood. The house is a couple miles from Belmar and a quick 15 - 20 minute drive to downtown Denver. Numerous parks within walking distance, include about a quarter mile walk to the entrance of Belmar Park. Freshly updated, fenced in backyard with a natural gas grill and fire pit. Renter will have a private bathroom and access to the entire house, including an updated kitchen, washer and dryer, and an exercise room with a treadmill and weight bench (although not a large selection of weights). We can share the attached 2-car garage.

I am the owner of the house and will continue living there, so we will need to get along. I am typically quiet, laid back, and tolerant of people’s quirks. I will be working remotely part-time. My career is demanding and time-consuming, so there can’t be huge parties at the house, but I don’t mind well-planned out get-togethers. I have asthma, exacerbated by cigarette smoke, so I will not accept any smokers. I don’t personally drink, but don’t care if you do.

Another non-negotiable is your ability to get along with my dog, a 90 pound Alaskan Malamute. I haven’t met anyone he hasn’t liked, but there is always a chance. If you are bringing your own pet, we would need to discuss and introduce them, because he is hit and miss with other pets.

Rental could start middle to late August or September 1st. 6 month lease or month to month.
