Spacious, Sunny Room in Huge Group Home

Spacious, sunny bedroom available in a group house in Adams Morgan! The first full month of rent is due September 1, but I've already moved out so you'll be able to move in any time between now and then.

The room has a large closet, a built-in bookcase, and plenty of room for a full or queen size bed, a dresser, a desk, and a sofa or chair. It also has a large window sill that's great for plants!

Our house is three stories with a large living room, dining room, kitchen (with two fridges and a dishwasher), and bathroom on the first floor, plus a small patio out back. The second floor has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a washer/drier. The third floor, which is where the open room is, has three bedrooms and a bathroom. The open room looks out over the street, which is typically very quiet. The house has central heating and air. There is a flight of stairs leading up to the front door and stairs up to the second and third floors of the house. Lease is month-to-month. Utilities are not included and range from $50-130/month.

You'll be living with three women in their mid-to-late 20s - one works in marketing, one works in international relations, and one is a PhD student in museum anthropology - plus one other roommate TBD. We are a friendly group but mostly keep to ourselves, particularly during weekdays as we are all currently working from home. We take social distancing and mask-wearing seriously and are looking for a roommate who does the same. Aside from alcohol, this is a substance-free home. No cats or dogs.

Our place is conveniently located near several parks, grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and transit stops. 18th Street, Meridian Hill Park, Safeway, Harris Teeter, CVS, and 7-11 are right around the corner. U Street, the National Zoo, Rock Creek Park, Starbucks, Philz, Target, and Trader Joe's are just a short walk away. We live close to the Woodley Park-Adams Morgan-McPhearson Square Circulator and the 42, 43, 90, 96, H1, L2, S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, and S9 Metrobus stops, and a 15-20 minute walk from both the Woodley Park stop on the Red Line and the Columbia Heights stop on the Yellow/Green Line. There are also several Capital Bikeshare stations nearby.
