Brand new condo - seeking roommate

The Condo

It's a brand new (Built July 2023) modern 3 bed 3 bath. You would have your own en-suite bedroom with a balcony on the third floor! The room has Alexa-enabled motorized shades but is otherwise unfurnished. We have a private furnished rooftop deck with views of the monument! We also have a shared backyard too! The entire home except for your bedroom is already furnished, complete with smart appliances. Your rent would be $1700 for July (to finish out the current lease) and $1850 for the lease beginning August 1. This includes trash, gas, and water. Electricity and internet would be split by us. The condo could easily fit three people but I am keeping it to just the two of us. There is ample free street parking in the front and on the side streets. We can discuss the parking pad as well. The condo is a 9min walk from Rhode Island Metro and a 10min walk from Brookland Metro.

About Me

I am a 29 year old working professional. I work a hybrid schedule, 2 days from home, 3 days in the office. I enjoy hosting and going out - the Dew Drop Inn is a 90 second walk from the condo(!) - but I also enjoy quiet nights in as well. I'm also a huge fan of soccer and frequently go to Solace to watch Man Utd games. I'm really easygoing and have never met a roommate I didn't get along with! I'm also very clean and would like to live with someone who would keep the common spaces that way too. I would love to find someone who's down to hangout during the week and maybe join me in my VOLO pickleball adventures too! Ideally I would like to find someone who can commit to a year lease as well. Lastly, the cat distribution system is strong around here, so you'll have to be okay with a cat eventually being around! I've lived with both male and female roommates my whole life so open to any gender!
