Hi Room Hunters,
I am looking for one roommate to fill my 4 Bedroom/3.5 Bathroom row house. There is a 2nd floor room with a private bathroom available. The rent is $1300 per month and it is move in ready. Once you move in there will be 2 tenants (you and me), 1 office space, and 1 home gym.
Security Deposit - $700
Utilities - Average $150 per person/per month

About the place: A rowhouse located on the north end of Columbia Hts. Kitchen, laundry, and additional living space are shared. The house was renovated in 2007ish with open floor plan and new appliances. The main living area and kitchen are mostly furnished with some flexibility for new furniture/things; bedroom space is unfurnished. There’s a front porch and small front yard.
Metro accessible to yellow/green line, easy access to multiple bus routes, permit street parking, short walk to DC USA/Giant or Safeway, plenty of nearby bars & restaurants.
About me: I am mid 30s woman working in education. I try and balance having a good time with being a responsible adult. I host the occasional party, but am not interested in living in a party house. I prefer common areas to be clean, but I'm not a neat freak. Good communication is important; passive-aggressive emails & notes are not my style. I have one sweet, short-haired kitty and an XL Mastiff. Must Like Big Dogs (he's both friendly and a guardian for the house). I am not able to take any new pets.
About you: Responsible young professional of similar age, clean-ish, progressive, and LGBTQ+ friendly. Any gender welcome but females preferred. No couples. No additional pets.
