Custom-Built Home on Five Acres Near Tallahassee

I live in a 1900 square foot house on five acres in the woods between Tallahassee and Havana, Florida. The house is custom-built ICF, very energy efficient and hurricane resistant, with hardwood floors, a screened porch, and natural clay walls. It's a lovely place full of light and great energy with a fireplace, spiral staircase, and walking trail at the edge of the property. It backs up to a 1000 acre grass fed cattle property and long-leaf pine forest.

The house is in a very rural area but only 16 miles from the center of Tallahassee and 4 miles from the tiny but adorable town of Havana. The road to get there is 3/4 mile dirt/gravel. There is a place to garden and a large garage for parking and storage. Currently I commute in to Tallahassee for work five days a week; it takes me about 35 minutes from door to desk.

You would have your own large bedroom and private bath with a big shower. We would share the kitchen, meditation/exercise/study loft, the giant Great Room/Dining area with fireplace, and the screened porch with rocking chairs and a hammock.

I can provide your bedroom either furnished or unfurnished if you have your own things.

I have highspeed internet which is included in the cost of rent along with garbage/recycling, electricity, and water.

I host many alternative spirituality events on the property, teach yoga, am a Reiki practitioner, and I am in my second year of a mental health counseling master's. I am about to start an unpaid internship and I need a roommate to help me out during that year and maybe as I build a private practice too.

I live with two bulldogs: Lola is 45 lbs and Rocky is 63 lbs. They are both sweet tempered and loving with humans. You would not be able to bring pets of your own.
