I am offering a bedroom in my 2 bed, 1 ½ bath townhouse near Vista & Overland in SE Boise. I moved here in March as part of a lease take-over and just renewed through May 31st, 2025. I believe there will be an option to renew the lease next year. This is a 2-story unit, both bedrooms and the main bath/shower are upstairs. ½ bath is downstairs and there is also a small paved patio with some dirt area for growing things (work in progress). There are 3 units, this is an end unit with only 1 shared wall. Property manager prioritizes quiet tenants so everyone can enjoy the space. So far neighbors have been very nice and easy to get along with.
If we seem like a good match you will be put in contact with the property manager to go through the application/background check process and will be added to the lease. Because I paid the entire security deposit upon move-in, I am asking for a smaller deposit paid to me to cover any damages. It will be fully refundable assuming there are no major issues upon move-out.
The bathrooms will be shared but there will always be one available for use and there is plenty of storage space.
Utilities are included in rent
High speed WIFI with the ability to upgrade the plan if needed.
The shared living areas are furnished but we can make space for some of your furnishings if you like.
Bedroom is not furnished but it has plenty of space. I am currently using it as an office and it comfortably fits my desk along with a full-sized mattress (will be removed before you move in).
There is a small parking lot on the property and plenty of safe, on-street available.
I have two dogs - a lab & a cattle dog mix. They are male, altered, and very friendly and well-behaved. You can interact with them as much/as little as you like. They are allowed on livingroom furniture.
Unfortunately the property manager does not want any more animals on the premises.
There is a full-sized stacked washer and dry and a linen closet.
The kitchen is narrow but has a garbage disposal and dishwasher and plenty of cabinet/refrigerator space.
About me: I moved into this place in March as part of a lease takeover and just renewed through May 2025. I am hoping to find someone to share this space and the related costs. I am a Christian, in my early 40s, and generally mellow/quiet. I am an accountant & work from home most days. Evenings and weekends I’m walking/hiking with the dogs, relaxing on the couch, or going on day trips. I rarely drink, do not smoke, and do not want any parties hosted here. A few friends over is totally fine.
About you: Ideally you are kind, respectful, and willing to communicate about any issues. Tidy, willing to share chores in the common areas, and have good boundaries. You either work outside the home or have a quiet job so we don’t disturb each other’s workdays. We don’t have to agree on everything or be best friends but hopefully we can have a successful roommate relationship.
