Hi, my name is Frank, my wife and I are looking for a roommate for the upstairs bedroom in our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house in Stickney - just south of Berwyn. No deposit, month to month lease. Stickney is a quiet neighborhood.

BEDROOM is available November 1, 2022 (possible sooner). The current renter still has his stuff in the room. It will be completely cleaned when he moves out. He is moving to Florida for work.

Fully furnished for $600/mo. closet, full bed, dresser, nightstand, and a desk. See pictures. Included: free cable, free high speed WIFI, use of large front-loading washer and gas dryer and all utilities are included. Whole house backup generator in case of power outage, we still have power. Tankless water heater so we never run out of hot water. Fenced back yard with large deck picnic table and with charcoal grill. Share the upstairs bathroom with renter in the room next to yours.

No pets.

Prefer a nonsmoker and there is no smoking in the house. No heavy drinkers. Everyone in the house is responsible to keep things picked up.

Common areas: living room, dining room, small family room, decent sized kitchen, laundry area, fenced yard and a large deck for spring and summer barbecues. A Georgian style house with 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs, 1 downstairs) and two full bathrooms.

PARKING, TRANSPORTATION AND AREA:
Our street is wide and not crowded for parking. Required that you purchase the yearly $20 village parking sticker. The Pace bus - 2 blocks away on Oak Park Ave. and takes you to Metra BNSF line and CTA lines. Metra BNSF line - 1.5 miles to the Berwyn station - goes to downtown Chicago Union Station. Grocery stores, restaurants and fast food are all within walking distance (.5 to 1.5 miles). I 55 Stevenson expressway is 1.5 miles I 290 Eisenhower expressway is 4 miles

ABOUT US: We keep common areas neat and picked up but we are not clean freaks. We are sociable, quiet and have positive, responsible and considerate attitudes. We are looking for the same in a roommate. We do not smoke and rarely drink. No illegal activity permitted.
