Hi there!

We are 3 young professionals looking for a tidy and respectful roommate to join our apartment as early as August 1, 2020.

About us: We are between the ages of 26-28 years old. We all have full-time 9-5 jobs that keep us pretty busy during the week. During the pandemic, 1 roommate has been working from home and anticipates they will still be working from home through the end of the year.

Over the weekends, we like to travel, do yoga, or stay home cooking/baking. We like spending time with each other but we all have our own busy lives, and we enjoy living in a clean, quiet, and relaxing apartment. We take turns cleaning common spaces and generally try to keep things tidy around the house. We are the first tenants to live here post-renovations. Kelly and MJ are a couple and share one room, while Chloe is in another room.

About the apartment and lease:
This is a 3 bed/1 bath. The bedroom available to rent has enough space for a full bed, bookcase, and bureau. There is a large, walk-in style closet in the bedroom.

The apartment has recently been renovated and features hardwood floors, granite countertops, new appliances, washer/dryer in-unit and a remodeled bathroom. Street parking available with a permit. We have a small porch on the front and back of the apartment.

No storage available. No pets. We are looking for a new roommate to move in on August 1, 2020 (flexible move in date) and sign onto the lease starting Aug 1, 2020. The lease is for 12 months.

Location:
Winter Hill, Somerville. Easy access to Broadway and bus routes 89 and 101. Sullivan Station is about a 20 minute walk from the apartment. Easy access to 93. Assembly Square shopping is about a 10 minute drive. Ten minute walk from Winter Hill Brewery!

Costs:
Rent is $705 per month. Upon move in, you will be asked to pay first/last month and security deposit. Utilities in winter usually run about $75-100 per person per month.

We are conscientious with energy usage and we do our best to turn off lights and turn down heat when we are out of the house during the day. You will assume responsibility for one bill (Eversource Electric) and you will email us the bill each month and we?ll split the cost evenly. Compost service is an additional $10 per roommate per month. We use Splitwise to split bills and shared items.
