Light-drenched, spacious 2-bdrm apartment.
1 to preferably 2-year year sublet.

Large bedroom with two expansive windows looks out over the tree-lined avenue and 10th St. (Sparkling river is viewable through the trees across the street.) Furnished with a tall writing desk, shelves, and 3-door, (turquoise) floor-to-ceiling wardrobe-closet and sofa sleeper. Additional storage is available in the kitchen and living room.

The other smaller room has a wide, pillowed day bed facing a long wrap around desk, under two tall windows, on a curved wall. It can act as an extra sitting room, study, or occasional guest room (as the tenant/roommate will rarely be in the apt.)

With tall ceilings, light streams in from windows throughout the apartment. The apt. is decorated with an artist's eye for color, pattern, texture. and clear space.

The neighborhood here is untouchable!
If you're into charming natural settings, the East River boardwalk, with tables waterside is a block away. 1-2 blocks in the other direction, (towards Thompkins Square Park), there are literally five different lush community gardens with gazebos, and other rustic seating, not to mention ponds with turtles and fountains.

Grabbing a bike from 10th at D, (or 9th at C), you can get to all the cafes, restaurants, clubs, and galleries of the East Village and lower east side in 10 minutes or less. Chelsea takes about 17 minutes via bike; electric bike will be only 11-12 minutes.

The bus heading across 14th Street (connecting to all major subways) is really fast and comes often these days. (The bus got it's own lane last year.)

FYI: I'm in the contemporary art field. Make, write, curate, and teach in several MFA departments.
Other interests include: film, audio books, nutrition, spirituality, running, & travel. (South America, currently on my mind).
