Large Renovated Chelsea Loft

THE SPACE: We are on the top floor of a seven-story former manufacturing building centrally located in Chelsea. Our home is a 2,300 square foot floor-through loft. An elevator opens directly into the apartment, which was recently gut renovated. It's clean, organized, has all new top-of-the-line appliances, hardwood floors, airconditioning, etc.

In addition to your bedroom, you would have your own private shower/toilet. If you look at the floorplan, you can get a sense of the space. The bedroom and toilet/shower are demarcated in red. The areas with aqua stripes are common areas ? large kitchen, generous dining area, spacious living room, cozy den/tv room, and a utility room with a new washing machine and dryer.

Utilities, internet, HBO/Netflix/Hulu are included. Bi-weekly housekeeping is $250/month.

Instead of renting the rear bedroom, another option is renting two adjacent rooms in the front section of the loft, which can be used as a private living room. and a separate bedroom. (It is currently being used as our office and edit room.) Of course you'd have use of the rest of the apartment as well. This configuration is $2,500/mo. and is demarcated on the floorplan in blue.

We are located next to lots of public transit. Easy access to taxis too. We're a 5-minute walk to Madison Square Park, close to Penn Station, and just blocks from art galleries, the Highline, etc.. Restaurants and other amenities abound. We even have two great supermarkets closeby that prepare fresh food if you're too tired to cook.

ABOUT US: My partner and I are award-winning, well-respected documentary filmmakers. Despite the seriousness of our work, we love to laugh, joke around, cook, bake, read, watch movies, visit museums, travel, eat good food, hang out with friends, etc. Ya know, typical New Yorkers.

We have a 16-year-old son who's a good kid--cheerful, amusing, fun-loving, and rather bright. He's usually out-and-about, or in his room on Snapchat with his friends. We also have two cute bunny rabbits and an old rescue dog (hypoallergenic) who sleeps all day.

The loft is big enough for everyone to co-exist comfortably. We've had many people live here with us, and have always had good times!.
