Description

My spare larger bedroom is available from July 1st. Available through Dec 31st 2020 initially with an option to renew. Three months commitment would be ideal but will consider month to month (strange times ;-) The room is a great size at 9'8 x 10'10, has two windows. It comes completely furnished with a twin size bed, bookshelves, shelving unit, closet, bedside table and lighting. (The room does fit a full size so if you have your own bed I will store the twin) The room is at the front of the apartment facing the avenue for a fair amount of city ambience that can be remedied with ear plugs and a sleep mask for those who may not be used to the hum (much quieter now actually during city shutdown)

Suitable for one working professional or someone looking to transition into the city. But open to anyone really that doesn't have a lot of stuff. I am quiet, calm, considerate, clean, independent, open, inclusive and looking for same in a roommate.

The apartment is on the top floor of a classic NYC walk-up (no elevator, no doorman bldg. The shared space is an at home cyber cafe living area. It is both cozy and comfy. I am the sole roommate. The bathroom is small with a shower with bathtub (3/4 size)The kitchen is fully equipped with a working oven, no dishwasher.

I am the holder of the lease and the only other tenant so you would be subleasing and signing an agreement from me.

The neighborhood is awesome, really the heart of Hell's Kitchen and midtown west - walking distance to theater district and most major subway lines meet in Times Square, closest is the CE and A. There is a plethora of restaurants & bars in the hood that are now offering sidewalk dining so whatever food/cuisine you are in the mood for from a wide variety of countries/cultures are within walking distance. Nice coffee shops about the place too that are still open. Walking distance to Columbus Circle, Citi-bikes, the Hudson River Park, the top of The High Line Park at the Javits Center, and much more.

ABOUT THIS LISTER
About Me: Early 40?s, young at heart, female professional working as an administrative assistant at a not-for-profit and my working hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm. Working from home at the moment through September and will be using shared living space 50% of my work hours. I love yoga & meditation.
