Description
I have 1 room available in my 3 bedroom apartment.
The room:
-Is 89 square feet (large by NYC standards)
-Has a full bed, small desk, standing lamp, and large 6 drawer dresser; I can also further accommodate. This furniture is optional: you can bring your own if you?d like!
-Has 2 large windows (72 inches tall, 38 inches wide, and 14 inches deep which provide additional space and allow lots of natural light when it?s sunny)!
-Has the fire escape (some use it to hang out).
-Rent is $1,100 a month. Sec dep is $1,100.
-Utilities are split equally and are usually no more than $50-80 a month. This includes wifi/internet tv, heat, hot water, gas and electricity.
The place:
-Kitchen, bathroom, and living room are shared.
-I have some gym equipment in the living room that you can feel free to use, including a treadmill.
-Washers/dryers in the basement, as well as the door to the back patio.
- No cigarette smoking inside the apartment.
-If you have a pet, we can discuss.
-My requirements are reasonable: please, be able to pay the rent on time (having a creative background is preferred but not a requirement ), clean after yourself, and chip in on chores/supplies.
The Area:
The area is safe (Haven't had any problems so far here). I will have been here 5 years come November.
There is plenty of nearby transportation, including the following trains and buses:
Metro bikes on the corner of 118th and 3rd
The 2,3,6 train on 116th
The 2,3,4,5,6 at 125th
The M101, M103 AT 118th
The M102 at 116th The M15 at 119th
Duane Reade, Whole Foods, Dunkin Donuts, Rite Aid, Mc Donald's, Taco Bell, Burger King, Wendy's, Subway, Target, 7-11, & several great restaurants & pizzerias are close by; Central Park, NYSC, Blink Fitness, & Starbucks, are all within walking distances as well. Also nearby is the East River Plaza, which is home to Aldi, Applebee's, Bob's Discount Furniture, Burlington Coat Factory, Costco, GameStop, Marshalls, Old Navy, Planet Fitness, Target, and another Starbucks (located inside of the Target), and more, all nearby.
Everything you need is just minutes away.
