Description
Hello!
My name is Claire, and I live in a 3br/2ba second floor walk-up in the East Village, three avenues from the 2nd Ave F train. Tons of awesome bars and restaurants in the area. The place is cozy and cute. Livingroom / kitchen / diningroom are all one area but it's a good space. Also there are two bathrooms which is a bonus!
My current roommates are moving out, so I need to find two people to fill up their rooms. We would need to sign the lease as soon as possible (preferably before May), and move-in begins on June 1st. First months rent, last months rent, and security deposit are all due before move-in. Also there is a $100 application fee. For utilities: heat and hot water are included, and internet and electricity amount to about $60 per person per month.
The area is extremely safe and lively. The apartment is a half block from Duane Reade, one block from a grocery store, 2 blocks from a brand new New York Sports Club, 3. 5 blocks from the 2nd Ave F train, Katz's deli, and American Apparel, and endless amounts of super cool bars, restaurants and beauty salons. We are also about a 20 minute walk from tons of shopping on Broadway in SoHo.
As for myself, I am a fun, active 23 year old New Yorker. I studied graphic design and am currently working in advertising at Ralph Lauren. I'm looking for people who are clean, neat and nice, and can help me create a fun living environment. More than just people to say hello to, but people to enjoy coming home to and hanging out with outside of the apartment. Preferably people who are down to Earth, drama-free, and who would more enjoy a couple beers at a dive bar or park BBQ over a crazy night at a club. I work 9-5 and gym most nights so I don't usually get home until 730. I don't go out much on week days, but I am usually a lot more active and social on the weekends. I have a boyfriend who visits, but he's a great guy and helps to clean the apartment. I keep the place pretty tidy and organized so I'd appreciate the same from everyone else (no dirty dishes laying around please!). The apartment has a dishwasher, but no laundry (but there's a nice laundromat 1. 5 blocks away). I am open to living with a pet. Please contact me ASAP as time is running out and it would really be a shame to lose this apartment in such a great area! Please also send me a link to your online social media profile if possible.
Cheers!
